Well we’re well and truly in the middle of Summer now and have been enjoying our usual Salmon & Strawberry Nights, Caribbean Beach Parties & all new Barbeque nights – We’ve still got a few places left on Saturday, 21st August 2010 – So why not come and see what all the fuss is about and let us do all the hard work.
Speaking of Barbeques, our daughter Polly is holding a barbeque night of her own. She is volunteering in India for Raleigh International in the Autumn of 2010 and is raising funds for the charity. Her fundraising night is on Friday, 30th July 2010 with Pimms cocktail reception, Barbeque Buffet, entertainment form The Sharp Cuts Trio & our resident DJ. Ticket donation is £15 per person or £135 for a table of 10.
I for one am certainly glad to see the back of The World Cup. We did have some success though (unlike the England Boys!) with our Ladies, Football Free, Ascot Night – Thanks to all the ladies (and some gentlemen!) who helped make a wonderful night with plenty of laughs.
I don’t know about being in the middle of Summer as I write this it’s pouring it down so naturally it must be time to start to think about Christmas.
